All the milongas (and classes) for the TTX festival are in the beautiful main ballroom of the SPK Polish Hall in the heart of the University of Toronto district. It is fully air-conditioned and has a wonderful wooden floor for excellent dancing. It can accommodate over 300 people and is fully licensed if you would like to have a glass of wine at the milongas or during the meals.
The TTX festival starts onThursday October 26 2023 and finishes on Sunday October 30, 2023 at 3am.
Toronto was named by UNESCO as the most multicultural city in the world. The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is less than a 5 minute walk from the TTX. The Royal Ontario Museum are less than a 10 minute walk. The trendy Yorkville shopping area is just a 15 minute walk. The world famous Niagara Falls is just one hour away.
Toronto is considered to be one of the safest cities in the world. There are many people walking alone in this area at all times of day and night. Of course, nothing is 100% safe, so you should always be careful.

There are many local restaurants in the area. Just south (less than 5 minute walk) on Baldwin Street there are over 20 restaurants, and if you walk on Cecil street west to Spadina Avenue (about 5 minutes) you will arrive at Toronto's Chinatown with a huge variety of Chinese (and other) restaurants.
